The ocean can be a treacherous place, and few people understand this better than lighthouse keepers. The Swan & Edgar Ladies Darling Yacht Diamond Gold pays tribute to Grace Darling, daughter of the Longstone Lighthouse keeper which makes up part of Farne Islands off the coast of Northumberland. The shipwreck of 1838 saw her rise to contemporary fame, putting her life at risk to rescue the survivors, which won her the Silver Medal for Bravery.

It is powered by precise and Swiss Quartz movement that ensures the luminous hands and 12-Hour analogue indices deliver smooth and consistent movement across the salmon-pink dial with a Single Diamond at 12 Position. This luminescence shares similarities to the guiding beam of the lighthouse, and highlights the importance of the enduring relationship between land and sea.

The timepiece is completed with a Swan & Edgar logo engraved stainless steel caseback, and the gold bracelet matches the gold IP case, demonstrating the virtue that Grace Darling showed in the face of seemingly insurmountable adversity.
